2017 Reading Challenge

For the next several months, I’m going to use this blog as a place to record quotes/thoughts/etc from the books I have read. I have decided to read 1-2 books a week until the end of 2017 – 30 books in total over 25 weeks.

This is really just for my sake, as I often have a hard time remembering books I’ve read and would like to have a place to document everything. If you have subscribed to my blog and would like to follow along with my reading, then by all means, but I apologize in advance if my thoughts are a little all over the place. I am also going to take this time to try to break free from social media. As I dove into my first book yesterday and finished it early this morning, I realized it was infinitely more fulfilling then scrolling through Facebook and Instagram. This won’t be a full hiatus, just a step back. Because of this, I won’t be sharing these posts on social media like I usually do. I may share the whole thing at the end, but we’ll see where I’m at with social media at that point.

Right now I just want to have a place to hold myself accountable to complete this goal, and putting it out there on the internet is my way of doing that, even if no one sees these posts until the very end. Anyways, here are the books I plan to read and the weeks I plan to read them:
